Find it Quickly: Settings > Email settings
Your email settings use an SMTP system. This means that when customers create a profile, the confirmation email that is sent to them can be automated. For more information about the SMTP system, click here.
By default, all emails are sent via the Reactive email servers. However, you are advised to set up your own SMTP server settings or our Gmail API integration so that any transactional emails are sent via your own email server.
To do that, fill in all the required fields of your email settings and click submit. If your settings are correct you will receive an automated email informing you that your settings are correct.
Your email settings are used to send all automated transactional emails of your Reactive website.
If your business is running on Google Business or you would like to use your gmail account to send emails to your customers you will have to authorize your Google account in order for Reactive to be able to send emails on your behalf.
What is TLS?
For more information about the TLS (transport layer security), click here.
Based on the above, here are the two options in simple words:
If the TLS Auto option is checked, the security process provided by the TLS will be automated.
If the TLS Auto option is unchecked, the security process provided by the TLS will not be automated.
It is another security process named Secure Socket Layer. For more information about SSL, click here.
Note
that we recommend you use a secure connection because emails can be filtered
into spam because of a firewall.
