How to add a YouTube or Vimeo video to a page

Adding a video to your page only takes a few simple steps. Reactive lets you embed YouTube and Vimeo videos directly into your pages. Just drag the Video Element onto your page to get started.

Adding Your Video URL

Paste your video’s URL into the Video URL field in the right-hand menu of the editor. Copy the full URL directly from your browser, including the 'https' part.

Video Dimensions

You can set the Height and Width of your video directly from the Main tab in the right-hand menu of the editor. These options let you control the vertical and horizontal size of the video player to fit your page layout.

Video Settings

Reactive offers a variety of video settings to customize playback and user experience:

  • Enable Interaction – Allows viewers to interact with clickable elements or annotations in the video.

  • Related Videos – Show or hide suggested videos at the end of playback. Helps keep viewers focused on your content.

  • Captions – Turn subtitles or closed captions on or off to improve accessibility.

  • Autoplay – Automatically starts playback when the page loads. Some browsers may block autoplay with sound.

  • Loop Video – Plays the video continuously in a loop. Ideal for background videos or promotional banners.

  • Mute – Mutes audio by default. Often used with autoplay to comply with browser policies.

  • Video Controls – Show or hide the player’s controls (play, pause, volume, progress bar).

  • Fullscreen Option – Allows viewers to expand the video to fullscreen mode for a better viewing experience.
