How to create a product

And now it’s time to add products to your store! The platform allows you to create any type of product you wish to sell to your customers.

To create a product, visit the admin panel and click on Products from the E-shop menu. Then click on the "Create" button that appears on the top of your screen in order to create one.

Section General
Image. You can add multiple images to best display your product by clicking the + button. The product image will be shown to the respective location of your product page according to the product template you have previously selected from your Theme Settings. If there are multiple images the left-most image is the primary one. You can drag and drop to reorder them. If you don’t have any images for your product yet you can skip this step.

Title. This is the name of your product shown to your customers.

URL. The URL is the link to your product. While creating a product the URL is automatically generated based on the product name you add. You can always change that later if you wish. However, if you change the product link that has been previously crawled by Google or other search engines your visitors will land to the "product not found" page.

SKU. This is the unique code for your product. Each product has its own unique alphanumeric combo of characters that helps you organize your inventory and fulfill orders.

Short description. This is the brief overview of your product that quickly highlights the main features and benefits, designed to capture customers’ interest at a glance on the main product page.

Description. This is the description of your product. Describe your product detailed to inform and persuade potential customers. Everything you set in the description field will be shown to the page of your product according to the product template you have previously selected from your Theme Settings.
Price. This is the price you would like to sell your product to your customers. You are advised to add prices exclusive of Tax since Taxes are calculated dynamically based on the Tax Category each product belongs to. To find out more about Taxes and how do they work visit our detailed documentation about Taxes.

Compare to price. This is the original price for a product that’s on sale.
For instance if you 're selling your product for 30€ and it's typically 40€ you would set 40€ as the compare to price.
Published. When you are done editing the product check the published box in order to publish it. This option lets you define if you wish your product to be published on your storefront. If this option is not checked your product will still be available for purchase but it won't be shown in the list of products.
ActionsOnce your product is published, you’ll have access to several actions to help manage and share your product.

Copy. This allows you to quickly duplicate your product for easy creation of similar items without starting from scratch.

Preview. Click this option to view how the product will appear to your customers on the front end of your store. This is useful for making sure everything looks just right before promoting it.

Copy Magic Link. This feature generates a unique URL for the product. By sharing this link, customers can instantly add the product to their cart by simply pasting the link into any browser. It’s a great way to streamline the shopping experience and guide customers directly to checkout.

Section StockThis feature allows you to manage and configure the inventory levels for each product in your store. Set up the stock for each of your store locations. If you offer non-stock items or want your product to always be available, set the stock quantity to unlimited.

Max purchasable quantity. Set a maximum number of items that a customer can purchase in a single order. This is useful for managing inventory and preventing bulk buying of limited stock items.
Availability Rules. Availability rules determine how and when products are available for purchase based on various criteria, such as stock levels, location, or time-based conditions.
Backorder Enabled. Enabling backorders allows customers to place orders for items that are currently out of stock, with the understanding that the items will be shipped once they become available.
Preorder Enabled. Preordering allows customers to place orders for products that are not yet available but will be in the future. This feature helps gauge interest and secure sales before the product is officially in stock.
