Reactive allows you to create multiple product categories and assign them to your products easily.

To create your first product category visit the admin panel and click on Categories from the E-shop menu. Then click Add New Category.

Once you do, a new category will be created auto-populating an example name, a link as well as two of the mandatory product attributes: UPC & Brand.

What does the link in product categories do?

The link of your category will be displayed in the url of your storefront. As soon as you type the name of your product category Reactive will automatically populate and display the link of your category.

What are the product attributes and how can they be used?

You can create as many product attributes as you wish for every product category. Those attributes can be used to identify characteristics/attributes of your products assigned to a specific category. 

For example, let's assume that you wish to create a wardrobe as your first product. You can easily create a category called "Wardrobes" and besides UPC & Brand add some more attributes like Material, Wood, Drawers, Doors and Dimensions.

What does the Visible option mean in product category attributes?

This is a very cool option if you would like to hide a product attribute from an entire category at once without deleting it. If you choose to deactivate the Visible option by turning off the switch, this specific product attribute will remain visible in the product edit screen of your admin panel, but it will no longer appear on the product page in your storefront for every product in that category.
