With Reactive you can create a complex category structure with several levels. Categories of the first level are referred to as root categories. You can also create subcategories of the second, third, etc. level. In order to create a subcategory you need to have a category already created. Find out more about categories here.  

To create a new subcategory visit the admin panel.

• Click on Categories from the E-shop menu.
• Click Add New Category.
• Enter the name of the new subcategory.
• Visit the Category menus.
• Click Add New at the bottom of your page.
• Select the subcategory you have created and enter a name.
• Click on the save button.

Once you are done, drag and drop your subcategory to an existing category as depicted below.

Click on the save button from the top right of your screen.

Changing categories order

You can easily change the order of your categories and subcategories. 

• From your Reactive admin, go to E-shop menu and click on Category menus.
• Drag and drop categories in the category tree. 
• Click on the save button at the top of your screen.
