Product attributes define the characteristics of your products assigned to a specific category and enabling you to uniquely describe them.

To create product attributes visit the admin panel and click on Products from the E-shop menu. Then select your product by clicking on the pen icon and navigate to the Attributes section that appears at the top of your screen.

You can choose a category already made for the product and assign values to your product attributes. If you decide to change the product category the attributes will be lost.  To find out more about product category visit our detailed documentation How to create a product category.

For example, let's assume that you have created a category called " Shoes "  and you have added some attributes like  UPC & Brand, Material, Gender, Warranty. From this section you will be able to assign values to your product attributes.
