How to set up Alpha Bank Payments

How to set up Alpha Bank Payments

Reactive is fully integrated with Alpha Bank Payments.

Once you have successfully created and verified your account at Alpha Bank you need to perform the following actions in order to start accepting payments on your Reactive website.

Login to your VPOS Alpha Bank account.

Find the section that says Merchant Information.

From this section copy the MID (merchant id). If you are already a Alpha Bank customer you should also have received the Secret Key from your communication with the bank.

Now navigate to your Reactive admin and go to Settings > Payment Methods.

Create a new payment method by clicking the Create button at the top right of your screen.

Provider. From the Provider drop down menu choose Alpha e-Commerce.

Title.
Choose a name for your method. This will be shown to your customers as the name of the payment method. For example, Pay your order by Card.

Click Save to confirm and create the new payment method.

Once your new payment method has been saved you will have to fill the additional API Information and keys in order to start accepting payments.

Active. You can choose whether you want your payment gateway to be active or not. We advise you to keep your method inactive (unchecked) until you enter your API credentials.

Exempt from Local Pickup. Turn this option on if you want this payment method to be exempt from orders using local pickup.

Merchant ID. The MID from your Alpha Bank account located in the Alpha Bank admin.

Shared secret. The Shared secret you have received from your bank (usually via email).

Server URL. This is the link where your customers will be redirected in order to complete their transaction. This value cannot be changed and it's only displayed for authorization purposes with your provider.

Description. Add a short description for your payment method. This will be shown to your customers as the description of the payment method. For example, Payments are processed by Alpha Bank. We never store your card information.

Once all the details are added, click save to apply your changes. Your new payment method is now set up and ready for use on your Reactive website.
