How to set up Bank Transfer payment method
Reactive allows you to manage various payment methods for your website easily. If you'd like to offer bank transfers as a payment option for your customers, you can follow the steps below to set it up in your Reactive website.
To create a bank transfer payment method, navigate to your Reactive admin.
Go to Settings > Payment Methods.
Click on the create button at the top right of your screen.
Provider. In the provider dropdown, choose Bank Transfer.
Title. Enter a name for your bank transfer payment method. This is how the option will appear to your customers during checkout.
Click Save to confirm and create the new payment method.
After saving the method, you can further configure it with the following options:
Active. Turn the switch on to make the bank transfer payment method available to your customers.
Exempt from Local Pickup. Turn this option on if you want this payment method to be exempt from orders using local pickup.
Description. Add a brief description to explain how the bank transfer payment works. This can be a short message informing the customers that they will receive bank account details after placing an order.
Set Up Available Bank Accounts
Now that you’ve enabled the bank transfer method, you need to add your bank account details.
You can add as many bank accounts as you need for customers to transfer their payments.
Click Add new to add a new account.
Bank Name. Enter the name of your bank.
Account Name. Enter the name under which the bank account is registered.
Account Number. Provide the bank account number where payments will be received.
IBAN. Enter your International Bank Account Number (IBAN).
Swift Code. Provide the SWIFT code for international transactions.
Additional Details. If necessary, add any extra details that may help your customers process their payments, such as branch information or reference codes.
Active. Check the box to activate the account for use.
Once all the details are added, click save to apply your changes.
Your bank transfer payment method is now set up and ready for use on your Reactive website.
