How to set up Pay upon Delivery

Reactive supports payment upon delivery, allowing customers to pay either in cash or by card at the time the products or services are delivered.

Create a new payment method by clicking the create button at the top right of your screen. 

Provider. From the Provider drop down menu choose Pay upon Delivery.

Title. Choose a name for your method. This will be shown to your customers as the name of the payment method. For example, Pay your order by cash upon delivery.

Click Save to confirm and create the new payment method. 

After saving the method, you can further configure it with the following options:


Active. You can choose whether you want your payment gateway to be active or not. 

Handling fee. Recently many countries have adopted the fee for wrapping products or food into plastic bags. You can set up the handling fee here and will be added to your customer's orders. 

Exempt from Local Pickup. Turn this option on if you want this payment method to be exempt from orders using local pickup.

Description. Add a short description for your payment method. This will be shown to your customers as the description of the payment method.

Once all the details are added, click save to apply your changes. Your new payment method is now set up and ready for use on your Reactive website.
