How to set up Card on Delivery Payments

Reactive allows you to accept card on delivery payments. That means that you should be able to provide a POS for allowing your customers to pay by card upon delivery of the products or services.

Create a new payment method by clicking the create button at the top right of your screen. 

Provider. From the Provider drop down menu choose Card on Delivery.

Title. Choose a name for your method. This will be shown to your customers as the name of the payment method. For example, Pay your order by card upon delivery or pickup.

Click Save to confirm and create the new payment method. 

After saving the method, you can further configure it with the following options:


Active. You can choose whether you want your payment gateway to be active or not. 

Exempt from Local Pickup. Turn this option on if you want this payment method to be exempt from orders using local pickup.

Handling fee. Recently many countries have adopted the fee for wrapping products or food into plastic bags. You can set up the handling fee here and will be added to your customer's orders. 

Description. Add a short description for your payment method. This will be shown to your customers as the description of the payment method.

​Once all the details are added, click save to apply your changes. Your new payment method is now set up and ready for use on your Reactive website.
