How to set up Stripe Payments

Please note that Stripe is only available outside Greece.

Reactive is fully integrated with Stripe Payments.

Once you have successfully created and verified your account with Stripe you need to perform the following actions in order to start accepting payments on your Reactive store.

Login to your account or create a new one with Stripe.

Visit the API Keys section of your account.

In the standard keys section click on the button Create secret key.

This will create a Publishable Key and a Secret Key.

Now navigate to your Reactive store and go to Settings > Payment Methods.

Create a new payment method by clicking the create button at the top right of your screen.

Provider. From the Provider drop down menu choose Stripe Payments.

Title. Choose a name for your method. This will be shown to your customers as the name of the payment method. For example, Pay your order by Card.

Description. Add a short description for your payment method. This will be shown to your customers as the description of the payment method. For example, Payments are processed by Stripe Payments. We never store your card information.

Once your new payment method has been saved you will have to fill the additional API Information and keys in order to start accepting payments.

Active. You can choose whether you want your payment gateway to be active or not. We advise you to keep your method inactive (unchecked) until you enter your API credentials.

Exempt from Local Pickup. Turn this option on if you want this payment method to be exempt from orders using local pickup.

Publishable key. The publishable key from your Stripe account.

Secret Key. The secret key from your Stripe account.

Once all the details are added, click save to apply your changes. Your new payment method is now set up and ready for use on your Reactive store.
