Set up flat rate

Reactive allows you to set a fixed cost regardless of the weight or cost of the final order of your customers. 

To create a new shipping method, go to Settings > Shipping methods from your Reactive admin.

Click the "Create" button at the top of your screen. 

You will be prompted to select a shipping method type. Choose either Default Method or ACS by clicking on Set up next to your preferred option.
Select Flat rate by clicking the add new button. 

Title. Choose a title for your method. This will be shown to your customers at the checkout as the name of the shipping method. For example, Europe orders.

Amount. Enter the shipping cost. Flat rate shipping applies a fixed shipping cost to an entire order.

Charge type. You can select the shipping cost as either a flat amount or percentage of the total price. 

Description. Add a short description for your shipping method. This will be shown to your customers at the checkout, as the description of the shipping method. 

For example, You can specify the time it usually takes for orders to arrive or anything else you feel is important for customers to know about this shipping option.

Delivery Zones. Select the countries and regions you wish your products to be delivered. If you don' t want to define shipping zones, customers from all over the world can choose this shipping option. Find out more about delivery zones and how do they work here. 

For example, if you delivery to anywhere in Europe for the same flat rate, you can create a delivery zone that includes all the European countries and charge the same shipping fee to your costumers.

Once you have created your shipping method click the save button at the top of your screen.
